Larayne Nicole
Loraine Nicole Castille known by her stage name Larayne Nicole, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Larayne was born in Santa Ana, CA and raised by her grandparents. Her grandparents pastored at a Pentecostal Church and her grandfather would invite her every weekend to come up to the pulpit and sing with him. It was only a matter of time before she started her involvement in music, leading the church choir and playing the drums. Her influences are Gloria Estefan, Selena, Jerry Rivera, and Marc Anthony. In 2005 LaRayne released a 13 track album, called Love Letters under the label, De Jenra. Her hit single “Make You Mine” off the album played on DJ 2Real’s, After Hour Hot Spot on rotation and several well-known clubs in Tijuana, Mexico. In 2006 she toured and opened up for Jamaican Reggae singer, Don Carlos and Motown artist Kem. In 2012 she released her 2nd album independently, “Diary of a Woman”. She worked with Grammy Award Winning Producers, Grinehouse in 2013 on their song “Come Alive”, which became the theme song of MTV’s reality show “The Alectrix”. Larayne has written for Teddy Riley, and Monifah, for his girl group, Forever Heartbreak.
